SolidClicks goes live with Guaranteed Traffic!
Dallas – March 30, 2005
SolidClicks (www.solidclicks.com)
is the newest online marketing product offered by SDI and is aimed
squarely at the market segment for whom full-blown Online Marketing
and Search Engine Optimization proves to be out of budget.
Users of the SolidClicks service are guaranteed qualified traffic
based on keywords and key phrases pursuant to their product and
service Compared to using traditional advertising to drive traffic,
use of the SolidClicks service proves to be quite a bargain.
Studies show that businesses spend $2500-3500 per year on Yellow
Pages advertisements alone, while national magazine advertisements
can easily cost $5000 or more per month. Even regional business
journals run $2000 or more per month. With pricing from only $19.95
per month, SolidClicks is affordable for any business wanting more
visits to their site.
With both Retail and Reseller plans available, SolidClicks is
positioned as a valuable resource any business can use.

SDI sponsored CMRA team wins First Round
Dallas – March 21, 2005
Being a technology company named after a motorcycle
part is not something often bragged about. It’s little more
than a silly story in the annals of corporate history. However,
with the win of the SDI-sponsored Village Idiots Racing (http://www.villageidiotsracing.com/)
at the 2005 Shogun Motorsports Endurance Series season opener at
MotorSport Ranch, we do get a bit excited.
Posting a winning time after four hours of racing is impressive.
Beating out the 2004 overall Champions, Northwest Honda, by 1.292
seconds is serious racing. Smart strategy, focused riding, and
a talented group of riders leaves the Idiots poised for a great
2005 season. If Round One is any indicator of the season to come,
years of hard work will continue to payoff for the Idiots.
Congratulations to the Idiots crew of Steve Breen, Chris Headley,
Craig Montgomery, and John Orchard!

New Dallas Datacenter Launch
Dallas – December 1, 2004
SDI is pleased to announce the official launch of their
newest data center, DAL1, housed within the renowned 2020 Live
Oak building in Dallas’ central business district. Dallas'
relatively mild climate, central geographic location, lack
of seismic activity, and inland distance from any coast make
it a prime choice over other strategic locations often affected
by natural disasters.
While Dallas is home to many Fortune 500 corporations and leading
technology companies, it is also a robust regional center
for domestic and international businesses. Serviced by the
world’s fourth busiest airport,
DFW International, Dallas is a logical choice for easy access
from anywhere.
Located within blocks of three major Southwestern Bell central switching
offices (Ross, Taylor and Riverside), our DAL1 data center
is located in the heart of a massive fiber optic intersection.
For clients with specific connectivity needs, SDI offers
the ability to connect with leading providers of IP Transit
both with “On-Net” presence
in the building as well as without.
Featuring advanced fire suppression, multi-grid power feeds, battery
UPS, diesel generator standby power, and multi-layered security,
SDI’s DAL1 is an excellent choice for any client’s hosting needs.

SDI
announces new Data Center
Dallas – September
2, 2004
SDI is proud
to announce plans to open a new data center in the heart of
Dallas ’ 2020 Live Oak carrier hotel. Portions of the
existing collocation, dedicated server, and related hosting
services currently residing at 10717 Plano Road , will be transitioned
to the new facility. Some support staff will also be relocated
for on-site administration. Sales, Accounting, Design/Development,
and general Corporate functions will remain at the current
North Dallas location.
Build out will begin immediately; with facilities to be client-ready
in late September/early October. Connectivity is expected to
be in place mid-September.
“After looking at all options, including some competing
space, we felt that being in 2020 Live Oak gives us the best
option for our growth strategies” says SDI CEO Jeffrey
Johnston . “The building’s ownership and management
provide faculties for companies such as XO, AT&T, MCI, Time
Warner, and Sprint. Talking with representatives from those companies,
we walked away very impressed. Being in a carrier grade facility
gives us a competitive advantage most other data centers can’t
afford. There are few buildings in the Metroplex with the redundant
power and fiber feeds that 2020 has. We simply feel our clients
will be best served here.”
“Having our data center and network in a building like 2020
is great,” says Lester Fichtner , ”The building is
twelve stories of solid concrete, fed by several power grids, with
diesel generators, and has on-net fiber from almost every major
IP transit player. Security and redundancy are the name of the
game.”

Congratulations
to Media Command Systems
Dallas – May 17, 2004
Dallas’
premier home theater company, Media Command Systems (MCS), has
launched its new www.dfwhometheater.com
web site.
The SDI developed and hosted site is a total
departure from the company’s previous site. Subdued hues,
conservative use of Flash, prominent positioning of contact information,
and overall cohesion were stressed.
“The site was very dark
and didn’t cater to the upscale market we target.”
says MCS’s Brian Leftin “We had tried to work with
another Dallas web design company, but just wasted time and money.
The Sprocket guys worked with us, listened to our needs, and made
it happen. We couldn’t have asked for more!”

Congratulations
to Annulet Inc.
Dallas – February 24,
2004
Long time SDI
client and top-level domain registrar Annulet (www.annulet.com)
has officially gone live with their newest service offerings.
With the domain segment of the industry being
comprised of only approximately 130 actual registrars and thousands
of resellers, any data center would be proud to house a company
such as Annulet. Being chosen for such a high profile responsibility
meant SDI had to pass stringent ICANN guidelines to meet Annulet’s
needs.
All of the SDI staff extend congratulations
and best wishes to Annulet.

Dallas
Colocation- Who says there’s no free lunch?
Dallas – February 12,
2004
Dallas colocation
clients already know the friendly faces of the SDI Support Team.
Now, out of state and international clients are invited to the
SDI Data Center whenever they’re in Dallas. Not only that,
but SDI will even provide complimentary lunch when scheduling
permits.
“Really, we’re always excited
to extend old-fashioned Texas hospitality to any of our clients.
However, with our Remote Hands services, we don’t always
get to meet our colocation clients face-to-face. Our Dallas colocation
clients like meeting the staff, but often our clients’ servers
are usually shipped in for our staff to rack up. This gives our
clients the option to meet the folks who keep their web servers
operational” says Shawn Devlin.

Joe Ashworth. “There is a definite increase in hosting coming
in too,” added Cruz Cranford, “It seems a lot of companies
didn’t finish 2003 in business so clients are looking for
stable companies like Sprocket to host with”.

Dallas – November 17, 2003
In a move to better assist clients’ familiarity with the full
range of SDI’s services, all hosting services previously found
at www.sprocketdata.com have been moved to www.sprocketnetworks.com.
Hosting, Colocation, and Dedicated Server offerings will soon be
joined by Domain Registration, SSL Certificates, and other related
services. “The problem was our clients were going to other
vendors looking for these things, and we’ve been offering
them all along,” says Jeffrey Johnston. “This shift
to departmentalize our services and products will enable clients
to see the full width and depth of our offerings.”
Soon
to be released will be the new SDI corporate site at www.sprocketdata.com,
